In this litter we tried to combine working ability with show potential. The litter of four girls and four boys were given names beginning with the 'T' from Teagan. Teagan, the puppies' mother has her CDX and earned her Tracking Champion title in July 2006 and her father, Tristan was UD titled. April their grandmother also has her CDX and her TD. The puppies' other grandfather, Harley, is a Retrieving Champion and their great grandmother is a Dual Champion in Retrieving. Our first Golden, Peppa who was CDX titled is also in the puppies' pedigree.
T Ch Fernamber Talisman CDX (Paddington) was awarded his CD title at the age of thirteen months and his CDX title at twenty months. He has also qualified for his Tracking Champion Title after qualifying in all his tracking tests in one tracking season. His brother T Ch Fernamber Tradition CD (Tully) owned by Kim Houlden is a Tracking Champion at eighteen months having qualified for his TD title at fourteen months of age and his TDX at eighteen months. In 2007 Tully qualified for his CCD title in obedience and quickly followed with his Companion Dog title.
T Ch Fernamber Tradition CD was awarded Tracking Dog of the Year for 2002 by the Tracking Club of Victoria in a year with a record number of dogs competing in Tracking. His brother T Ch Fernamber Talisman CDX followed, being awarded Tracking Dog of the Year in 2004!
In 2005 at the inaugural Champion of Champions competition, Paddington, T Ch Fernamber Talisman CDX was named the Champion of Champions! In 2007 Tully, T Ch Fernamber Tradition CD was named the Champion of Champions and in 2009 was awarded for the second time the Champion of Champions! Well done Tully!
